hi this is Tim will shop - reviews willbe back in a few moments to open thecase[ ]this is the DeWalt BW MT 75 0 4 9 andit's their 192 piece mechanic's tool setnow you can see that this set primarilyconsists of sockets and ratchetsextensions everything to do with aratchet and really covers the need asfar as mechanics go for sockets andratchets and what you'll need on the jobexcept for the impact socket so you cansee from the top here we've got your hexor allen keys if you will as well asyour torques and then you start gettinginto the 3/8 drive in the deep well andthat is SAE as well as metric as well asyour shallow L and SAE and metric and3/8 drive and then we stepped into thehalf-inch drive set here and again we'vegot sae from 7/16 all the way up to 1inch and then metric from 13 millimeterall the way up to 22 millimeter and thenwe get into the deep well side of thingsin the half-inch drive then we get downinto the quarter inch drives and againwe've got quarter inch on the metric andthe sae and an SAE we've got from 5/32all the way up to 1/2 inch and that's indeep well as well as shallow wellsockets and then also on the metric sidewe've got everything from 4 millimeterall the way up to 14 millimeter andshallow well as well as deep wellsockets on the quarter inch it also hasthree different sized spark plug ranchesor spark plug sockets and then gettinginto you've got a universal four quarterinch 3/8 as well as half inch and youhave extensions in quarter inch 3/8 and1/2 inch drive you've got a couple ofeach as well as adapters from quarterinch to 3/8 and from 3/8 to 1/2 inch andthen you even get into the allen keys orthe hex keys and again we have those insae as well as metric sizes and evencomes with the nice Dewalt holders aswell it comes with three ratchets thequarter inch 3/8 drive as well asthe half-inch and you'll see that theseratchets aren't small they're not skinnythey've got good weight to them they'vegot a nice oval design if it'scomfortable in the hand and they've eventhey've got some indentations here thatare easy to grab so it doesn't slip andyou see you can change direction with asingle hand with your thumb there andeasily switch that from lefty loosy torighty tighty or on-off left-rightwhatever you want to call that you'vegot your push button detent so you caneasily push the button and release thosesockets these sockets are made fromchrome vanadium so much like many othersockets on the market but where theydiffer a lot is you'll notice thatnumber one they've got their directtorque technology so just like in theirimpact sockets you'll see in the cornersof the six point socket that it'sactually opened up a bit and that's toallow that to grab on to the sides ofthat bolt or that nut when you'rebacking that out so it's not trying toput all the force on the corners ofthose fasteners it's using the sideslike it needs to to back those fastenersoff and again that's called the directforce technology and it's on all thesesockets here you'll also notice thatthey have a knurled band all the wayaround these sockets so you can grabthese sockets with your fingers and beable to turn a fastener if you needed toand you can feel that knurling a lot oftimes in other sockets of old I've gotan old craftsman here USA made craftsmanas well as a snap-on socket here allthese are 14 millimeter and they havesome knurling on it you can barely seeit and you really can't feel it as wellas even on the snap-on there's someknurling there you can barely feel thateither but this knurling band here youactually can feel that so you'd be ableto grab that and turn something also youcan easily read all these sizes so it isengraved or heavily laser etched but youcan actually fill that in there and youcan see the sizes of these sockets veryeasily even from the quarter inch allthe way up to the half inch and be ableto read those sizes whether it be metricor standard sae now where the wall isreally shining with these mechanic toolsets is they're covering this with theirfull lifetime warranty now I'm nottalking about going to a storetaking back your broken piece andexchanging it for a rebuild orremanufactured one I'm talking about noteven taking a picture of it call their1-800 number tell them what you brokeand they're going to send you a brandnew piece straight to your doorstep soyou don't have to worry about it youreally can't be too full warranty likethat and that goes for every piece inthis tool set also you can buy thiscomplete set for as little as twohundred and eleven dollars and you'rereally going to be hard-pressed to findanything like that at one hundred ninetytwo pieces with the quality this doeshave for that two hundred dollar rangeif you watch me for any time you knowI'm not a huge fan of a blow molded casebut then again how are they supposed todeliver this they put it in a blowmolding case that all the sockets do fitin there they're not falling outeverywhere as you can see they stick inthere so big great kit for somebodybeginning even if they're not a beginnerthey could pull these sockets out theycan put them on rails put them in theirfavorite toolbox the ratchets are greatdesign ratchet you've got even yourspark plug wrenches and you're coveringthe gamut from your quarter inch drive3/8 drive and half inch drive check itout
